New Search Engines from Microsoft - Kumo or Bing?

Earlier it was said that Microsoft is going to launch a new serach engine by the name of Kumo, a few days back we heared that they have changed the plan to launch Kumo and now they are coming ahead with Bing. Today I saw their new search engine www.bing.com while they are redirecting the domain name www,kumo.com to the Bing one.
As far as look is concerned it is a cool looking search engine, with almost all the features similar to Live, the newer version of the MSN. I am not sure if what I am seeing on the home page of the Bing is same through out the world or it is different according to the geographic location. Although for me it’s look is quite amazing.
Many people are saying that Bing or Kumo is going to fight against the world’s number one search engines Google, but I don’t think that it has the ability to give serious threat to G. I am not sure why Microsoft has planned to launch a new search engine, while they already have MSN. After MSN they launched Live, and now it is Kumo or Bing.
What was the point in launching so many search engines while they were not be able to maintain the MSN too. If you ask me “Why I personally left using MSN?” then I will tell you that moment they started not showing any thing related to site:www.sitename.com query I left using MSN, just because I am an SEO and I use to search many queries related to my site only on a search engine. That is why I love Google. Now see in Bing too they don’t have this facility so why I am gonna use it?
If no one is getting any thing exceptional from other search engines then why will they proceed to use it? In this way how they can compete the world number one search engine Google?
Nice one, I can understand the concern for Microsoft. They have not managed the MSN, and then came up with Live, but it too remain at the same place and now Kumo and then Bing. How can we believe that they are going to update it?
my initial test result shows that Bing is as good as Google when displaying relevant search results. Google might be having a tough competitor with Microsofts own search engine.
i have been evaluating the search results of Microsoft Bing compared to Google and they are comparable. Bing gives almost the same relevant search results just like Google.
i am a user of Microsofts BING search engine and it is as good as google search. for searching blogs, i think google gives more relevant search results compared bing.
